Personality:-
Blossom is an extremely sweet and lovable girl who will make a great companion. She has a very calm and confident disposition though she loves to play like any 6 month old pup. She is independent, obedient, cooperative and easy to handle. She'll make a loyal and faithful companion. She looks extremely cute which is a bonus! : )


Background:-
One evening, when an uncle was feeding strays at a construction site, he spotted a pack of dogs attacking Blossom who was then barely 3 months old. Petite and small in size, Blossom couldn't defend herself. Feeling sorry for her, the uncle went to Blossom's rescue and nursed her back to health.


Blossom is currently staying at a shelter in Pasir Ris.

Personality:-
Hugo is an extremely well-behaved and sweet boy who will make a great companion. He has a very calm disposition and gets along well other dogs, humans and children. He is extremely easy to handle, walks well on leash and knows how to get off and on the car himself! He is extremely intelligent and learns things very quickly. He'll make a loyal and faithful companion, greeting you with wagging tail and showering you with lots of licks and love.


Background:-
The factory that Hugo stayed in previously shifted. The owner of the factory brought the other dogs along and left Hugo alone behind. Hugo waited outside the factory faithfully for 2 months for the factory people to return but they never did come back for him. His rescuer then brought him to the shelter. As Hugo was abandoned, he was very skinny and had very low confidence. He hung his head low, hide in corners and dare not look at anyone. Hugo came a long way. He has now regained back his confidence and is such a charming and sweet boy.

Personality:-
Benji is a very sweet and lovable puppy. He loves cuddles and loves to wrestle with his sister, Cookie. He greets visitors with his wagging tail and showers them with his licks and kisses. He will make an excellent companion and a friend for life.


Background:-
Benji was dumped outside a factory together with his sister, Cookie. At 2 months old, there is no way he could have survive and fend for himself so a kind uncle brought him to the shelter. However, the shelter is not a place for a puppy to grow up in. Benji needs a good home.

Personality:- Cookie is a bundle of joy. She loves to play with dogs much bigger than her and would often tease the bigger dogs. It is a joy watching her play. She is cute as a button and would make an excellent companion. She loves cuddles and is always so excited to see visitors, showering them with licks and kisses.

Background:
Fudge walked into a factory seeking for a place to stay. She was so adorable that people at the factory wanted to keep her. Unfortunately, according to management's policy, dogs are not allowed into the compound. Her rescuer had to reluctantly put her at a shelter as she is unable to house Fudge.

Fudge is currently being fostered at Pasir Ris.

Fudge is an extremely sweet girl. Her gentle, submissive and docile personality will melt your heart. Fudge is seeking a chance to be your loyal companion. Would you be the one to give her that opportunity?

Background:
The puppies' mummy was loitering along a pavement near Stamford Tyres. Volunteers intended to send her for sterilization but on the eve of her spay day, she gave birth to 4 male puppies. One pup has already been adopted. Their rescuer could not bear to put the adorable puppies to sleep so she housed them at a shelter after they were weaned of their mother's milk. The 3 puppies have been staying at a shelter since.

Ryan and Snowy eating left over food on the floor.

Both Ryan and Snowy were given up by their owner at an industrial estate.  A lady happened to drive pass the factory one afternoon and an old man approached her to help these dogs. 

Feeling sorry for them, the lady sent an SOS via SMS asking for assistance to help the dogs.

How could anyone be so heartless to give up these two dogs who had given joy and companionship to their owner. Is this the way to treat a dog when they have out grown their cuteness?  What have they done wrong to deserve this treatment?

Ryan and Snowy are very loving boys, intelligent, able to do tricks. Ryan is a very gentle Retriever, he shares his food and lets Snowy eat first.  When Snowy is done eating, Ryan will then finish whatever is left.  They are an adorable couple.

Despite all that he has been through, he is a friendly and sociable dog. He loves eating and is not a fussy eater. Baxter looks forward to being able to go to a loving family.

A Shih Tzu was tied at a HDB void deck at Bedok. A family saw the dog in the morning on the way to work, but thinking that the dog's owner was probably nearby, they left. However, to their horror, they saw the poor dog still tied up at the exact same spot that evening. He was hungry, tired and thirsty, looking forlorn and confused. The family brought the dog to Mt Pleasant Animal Medical Center (Bedok) and handed the dog over to the vet as they did not want to take him home. That was 8pm and the poor dog had been tied up from early morning.


Why are some pet owners so irresponsible, giving up a member of their family who has been loyal to them all his life? Why didn't they bring the dog to SPCA or an animal shelter instead? If they wanted a kind person to take over their dog, it worked. Thank God for Zeus Communications and concerned people. Pet ownership is a responsibility; the animal is part of your life, your family. Why all of a sudden give it up when it dedicated its whole life to loving and protecting you? This Shih Tzu had been crying at the vet, longing for its family and wondering what it did wrong to be left alone and abandoned. Animals have feelings and emotions too; they feel sad when you leave them out in the lurch. Imgaine what would have happened if the kind family had not rescued the dog - it would have died of hunger, thirst and a broken heart.


The Shih Tzu is estimated to be around 6 to 7 years old. Zeus Communications has vaccinated and microchipped the dog, given it a full medical check up and paid to board him at the vet while we looked for a foster. The dog is now with one of our volunteers but urgently needs a home. Our foster says that he has a very sweet and gentle temperament; eager to please and shows lots of affection. He cooperates very well during bath-time and is good with other pets. He is also intelligent and learns fast. He'll be a perfect companion!
